No, there is no cost to prescribers or staff. We are able to provide this portal through partnerships with specialty pharmacies, biotechnology companies, and pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Any healthcare provider can sign up and create a user account. To start, follow these simple steps:

  • Navigate to the Begin Registration link below.
  • Fill out the information and click Register.
  • RxLightning will send a verification email with a link (if you do not see it right away, please check your junk mail folder).
  • Navigate to your email and click the link to verify.
  • Once the email is verified, the user can sign into RxLightning using the email and password they created.

An admin user can add and manage multiple prescribers by associating the prescribers’ email address to a user’s account. There is no limit on the number of prescribers that can be added to one organization.

What information do I need to begin a specialty medication enrollment?2023-07-12T14:59:57-06:00

Initiating a new enrollment is as easy as clicking “Start New Enrollment” located in the top right corner of each page within the portal. You will need to select a patient and verified prescriber, then you can search for the medication to begin the specialty pharmacy, PAP, or hub enrollment process.

Correct, enrollment data will vary per form. Each item that is required will be marked with an asterisk (*) and upon submission, the required fields will be validated. In the event a required field has not been filled out, an error message will appear prompting you to make the required adjustment.

Yes.  While RxLightning offers a standalone portal to complete the medication onboarding process, we can also leverage secure APIs to provide real-time data exchange capabilities within the leading EHRs. We also offer fully integrated, custom, and branded experiences to ensure user adoption.
